England The National Football Club
England national football team which is controlled by the FA is known as the joint oldest national football team from England.A national football team represents a sovereign state with International shirts, mainly.However, in the case of England National Football Team, it was permitted by FIFA.The statutes states the exemption for the Olympic Games and that the team can maintain its own side to compete in all major professional tournaments.The team’s home ground is Wembley Stadium in London and their head coach is Fabio Capello.
One of the eight national teams to have won the FIFA World Cup us the England National Football team.Scotland and Wales were the team’s traditional rivals since the start of football mania.
In the early years of England, the team had no permanent home stadium.In 1906, other than the Home Nations on a tour of Central Europe in 1908, they joined FIFA and played their first ever matches against other countries.It was in 1923 that Wembley Stadium located in Brent, London was opened became their home ground.The stadium in 2001 was demolished for reconstruction.During this time, team members on England shirts played at different venues across the country.It was in 2001 when the Englands finally returned to Wembley Stadium which is now owned by the Football Association via its subsidiary Wembley National Stadium Limited.
During the World Cup of 2010, the leading questions of England are about, tactics, team’s spirit and ability to handle pressure.Their terrible loss in a World Cup was with Germany, though they progressed on the next round, they were beaten by 4-1.Strength in depth and skill is what England team lacks, according to Gary Neville.
The team’s traditional Football football shirts are white shirts, navy blue shorts and white socks.England’s kit designed by Umbro and Admiral were worn periodically.England’s first away kits were blue, while its traditional away colours were red shirts, white shorts and red socks.It was in 1996 when the team’s away kit was changed to grey shirts, shorts and socks.England away kit remained red until 2011, for the traditional red kit that was worn three times including the match against Germany in the semi final of Euro 96 was unpopular with its supporter .When a new edition has been released in order to promote it, the away kit is sometime won during home matches.
The pay during international matches for the team was religiously donated to Team England Charity, for everybody’s information.The deed showed by the England football team through their charity works is heroic and not everybody could do the same act.
